wild wise projects

Wild Wise works to help to reduce human-wildlife conflicts through public education. Our goal is to learn as much as possible about local wildlife sightings and interactions within our community.

  • Public education on how to properly manage wildlife attractants 

  • Placement of signage in wildlife hotspots: bear in area & wildlife crossing signs

  • Living with Wolves Initiative

  • Cougar Coexistence Initiative

  • Seal haul out project

  • Purple martin nest box construction 

  • Bat box construction

  • In-school educational program 

  • Wild Wise courses and life-long learning sessions

  • Fairs, festivals and public presentations 

  • Fruit exchange (fall)
